These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Higher Ground of Healing website and booking services. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms. Higher Ground of Healing is a massage therapy practice located at the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination, 5006 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be displayed during checkout.

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances
• Your remaining balance is due at the time of your session
• Booking a session confirms your agreement to these terms

• 24+ hours notice: You may reschedule once at no additional charge. Your deposit transfers to the new appointment.
• Less than 24 hours notice: Your deposit is forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook.
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows: You will be charged 50% of the full session price in addition to forfeiting your deposit.
• Cancellations must be communicated via phone/text at (412) 419-4425 or email at highergroundofhealing@gmail.com.

If you arrive late, your session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid impacting other clients. You will be charged for the full session. Please plan accordingly and arrive a few minutes early.

• You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, medications, injuries, or contraindications before your session.
• Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment. Please consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.
• We reserve the right to decline service or modify the session plan based on health and safety considerations.
• If you are feeling unwell or have a contagious condition, please cancel your appointment.

Higher Ground of Healing is a professional therapeutic environment. Sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct of any kind will result in immediate termination of the session, and you will be charged the full session fee. Future bookings may be refused.

Payments are processed securely via Base44 Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards. All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time; changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

• Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of issue.
• Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced.

Higher Ground of Healing is not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed health conditions or inaccurate intake information provided by the client. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.
